Pair Arts and Crafts Panels with Jacobean Revival Crewelwork Embroidered Borders: C1900 Britain
Item Details:
Dating from the early 20th century a pair of delightful curtains with deep borders of Jacobean revival hand embroidered crewelwork in a recognisably Arts and Crafts style.
These gorgeous embroidered panels abound with 17th century inspired decorative foliage and flowers, entirely hand embroidered, in natural softly coloured wools on a taupe coloured linen twill ground.
The borders would work very well by being stretched and mounted ready for hanging on a wall. This is a service we are pleased to be able to offer from our dedicated textile conservation studio. Please ask us for details and a quote.
The price quoted is for the pair.
