Antique Folk Costume Dress with Handwoven Bodice: C20th Slovakia

Item Details.
We have two of these lovely folk costume dresses. From Slovakia we believe these would have been worn with a decorative jacket and full skirt worn over the top of this underdress.

The bodice is made from a handwoven red and cotton panel with tiny details in pale yellow and blue with a medium weight gored linen skirt.

Measurements.
With garment lying flat:
Across chest: 41cm
Neck to hem: 84.5cm

Condition.
In excellent wearable condition. Some small marks on white linen, an overall patina of age and some light fading to the bodice.
