Extremly beautiful, rare and fine antique Jacobean flowering tree or scrolling vine pattern featuring stylized blossoms, leaves, and buds.

Very fine needlework using a mix of shades (pinks, greens, browns) on a textured, patterned neutral-colored base fabric.

With a distinct vertical striped and floral border panel along the right side. This textile is a piece of historical hand embroidery, from the Jacobean or Elizabethan period. It features prominent stylized floral motifs, scrolling vines, and a distinctive geometric trellis background texture common in 17th century needlework.

The design features an oversized, ornate central flower head (resembling a pomegranate or stylized thistle reminiscent of Ottoman-inspired floral motifs), and a scalloped, embroidered border trim.
Hand-stitched colored silk threads with textured couching or metallic elements on a pulled thread diamond-patterned or diaper-weave cotton fabric.

The embroidery uses varied silk needlework stitches to create shaded transitions within the petals and follage.
