This silhouette we are offering is from a collection all dating from the 18th century and with recognisable hair styles and fashions from the period. This portrait is of a man with an elaborate high hairstyle the like of was inspired by those of men in the French court.
Some of the portraits details have been highlighted with a deep gold wash.
