A wonderful long narrow length of handwoven silk brocade dating from the early 18th century.
Depicting urns with fruit on plinths surrounded by green bowers.
Woven through with real silver thread we think this was probably made as a furnishing fabric which would have looked wonderful glittering under candlelight.
