Collectable Regency Hand Embroidered Fawn: C18th England

Item Details.
A charming 18th century embroidery of a fawn/deer in a round antique frame.

Hand worked in cottons onto a fine muslin ground, it is a piece that we rescued from a slightly larger panel. There are stitch marks where we believe the whole panel was once quilted.

An utterly lovely little textile from the era of Jane Austen. A perfect gift for someone special or to hang as part of a collection.

Measurements:
13cm diameter x 2cm deep.

Condition.
In excellent antique condition. The embroidery has been professionally stretched and mounted over lined acid free board and put into an antique carved wooden frame with original glass.
