Item Details.
A pair of wonderful lithograph prints of Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan and his favourite consort Mumtez Mahal for whom
he built the Taj Mahal following her death.
In this print the emperor holds a rose - a token of love whilst the empress looks on rather disinterested.
This pair would look wonderful framed, perhaps in old Indian frames, which would also help to protect them for posterity.
Measurements: Each print measures,
43cm long x 26.5cm wide
Condition.
The condition is fair antique condition with some scuffs and a couple tears and losses. These pieces have all the idiosyncrasies of an aged and loved items and so small marks and signs of wear are to be expected and are an inherent part of their charm.
