Antique Rose Printed Silk Velvet with Handmade Lace Panel : C19th Europe

Item Details.
I love this! A long hand made runner with intricate handmade lace panels interspersed with fine rose printed silk velvet panels.

We think this may be Bulgarian but are not entirely sure! it came from a collector who travelled extensively.

The lace panels have birds (peacocks) and other traditional decorative elements.

A useful addition to a collection or as an eye catching runner on a table. Either end is finished with handmade silk tassles.

87 x 153cm plus 5cm tassles

Condition.
In good antique condition with an overall patina of age, nothing detrimental to this gorgeous textile. The edges are fragile and need binding.
