A lovely traditional child’s dress from India, hand embroidered by the Parsi community and dating from the early 20th century.
Made from hand embroidered mauve silk with an embroidered border running around the hem and sleeve openings, it is a highly decorative and attractive piece.
This form of dress is traditional of the Parsi community and would have been worn by a young girl or boy.

Condition. In excellent antique condition.
Overall condition is really good considering the age of this item. Some historic mends and slightly grubby marks which it may be possible to remove with specialist cleaning.
